The client
This one is ours. Impjieg is a MACK Media product, built by the same team that runs Dopamine Digital, and we treated it the way we treat a paying client: a written brief, a deadline and numbers to hit. It is the proof behind our custom apps and dashboards work.
What we wanted
Malta’s job boards hide the one number every candidate wants to know. The brief was a board built around clarity, speed and trust:
- Salary first. Show the pay range up front wherever the employer discloses it, and make listings that do easy to find.
- Work mode, clearly. Remote, hybrid or on-site as a filter, not a line buried in the description.
- Trust on both sides. Verified employers, applications that go straight to the company, and no expired roles lying around.
- Simple for employers. Post in minutes, pay a fair flat fee, see what happens.
What stood in the way
A marketplace has no value until both sides show up, so the board had to be worth using on day one with few listings and grow without a sales team. Verification had to be strict enough to mean something and light enough that a Malta SME would complete it. And pricing had to make sense for a ten-person company, not only for an iGaming operator.
What we delivered
A complete platform, live at impjieg.work:
- Candidate search by sector (iGaming, technology, finance, healthcare, marketing, legal, tourism, construction), work type (remote, hybrid, full-time, part-time, internships, contract), role, location and salary range.
- Employer workspace with a self-serve posting flow, an applicant dashboard, hiring analytics (views, clicks, applications), screening questions and a verified badge once ownership of the company domain is confirmed.
- Pricing that fits Malta. The first listing is free with no card required, a standard listing is €39 for 30 days, a featured listing with priority placement is €69, and an existing listing can be boosted for a one-off €35.
- Freshness by design. Roles expire after 30 days and drop off, so nobody applies to a job filled in spring.
What it produced
On 25 September 2026 the board listed 827 active roles, updated daily, across Malta’s main hiring sectors. It runs as a custom web application with an authenticated employer area, role-based access and a public site rendered for speed and for search engines, hosted and maintained by us.
